Josh (Manager)
SVQ3, HNC, working toward management degree
I’m the manager of LOOSC, having stepped up from deputy manager in late 2024. With a background in residential care, I hold an SVQ3 and HNC, and I’m currently working toward my management degree. I really enjoy the positive environment at Laurencekirk, with fantastic staff and children. Outside of work, I’m family-oriented, love reading thrillers, writing, going to the gym, and recently returned to football. I appreciate the trust placed in LOOSC and look forward to building strong relationships with children and families.

Michelle (Deputy Manager)
SVQ Level 3, working toward Level 4
I’m the senior practitioner at LOOSC, where I’ve worked since 2022. I’ve completed my SVQ Level 3 and plan to work toward Level 4. I’ve always loved working with children and strive to provide the best care possible. As a mum of six, family time is really important to me—whether it’s outings, baking, crafting, or even playing Fortnite with my son. I enjoy being part of such a supportive team at LOOSC, where we work together to care for all the children’s need

Emma
SVQ Level 3
I’ve been working at LOOSC for 4 years (as of July 2025). I’m dedicated to providing the best support and care with positivity and fun for all children. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, baking, drawing, gaming, and long walks with my dog and family. I love being part of a nurturing, supportive team where working together creates a safe, happy, and fun environment for children to thrive and grow

Yvonne
I’ve been part of LOOSC since January 2021. As a mum of four and a grandmother of two, I bring a strong background in childcare, including experience as a childminder. I’m also an animal lover with two cats, Simba and Bear, and a horse called Lily. I enjoy creating fun, stimulating, and challenging activities and crafts for the children to enjoy during their time at the club

Erin
Working towards SVQ Level 3
I’ve been with LOOSC for almost a year and a half and love spending my days caring for and playing with the children. I’m a mum of three—two teenage girls and a lively 3-year-old boy who keeps me busy outside of work. In my free time, I enjoy cheesy TV shows, audiobooks, and family time. Being one of six myself, I especially love big family gatherings and events.

Working towards SVQ Level 3
I started at LOOSC in September 2024, and this is my first job in childcare. I love spending time with the children, especially playing games at the club, and I’m currently working toward my SVQ Level 3. Outside of work, I enjoy meeting friends, shopping, and trips to the beach. -

Breanna
SVQ Level 3
I joined LOOSC in June 2025. My childcare experience includes working at Lathallan Nursery, volunteering at Montrose YMCA youth club, working in a soft play, and babysitting. In my spare time, I enjoy baking and spending time with friends and family. I live in Montrose with my boyfriend and our two cats.

Dave
Working towards degree
I joined LOOSC as relief staff in May 2025. I’m in my final year at university, working toward becoming a primary school teacher, and value the experience I gain supporting children at the club. A dad of four, I previously worked in hospitality as a chef and barista. In my spare time, I enjoy sea swimming, running, and cycling.
